“Personally, I’ve found that I have learned as much as the kids I teach in Sunday School,” says Lisa Davis. “Pray about being a teacher in this precious ministry.”
Lisa explains that new teachers are needed each school year. “They’re welcome to work with an experienced teacher as an aide.” Or they may teach a class. A structure is provided for each level. Teachers may follow the lessons closely or use crafts, songs, music, or plays, etc. to supplement.
“Julia Mueller and I had so much fun this year because we wanted to enjoy the classes too,” Lisa explained. “Our third and fourth graders played all kinds of games to help memorize the 23rd Psalm,” for example. “And a Bible Quest game with prizes was a huge hit.”
