Our minimally advertised effort to raise funds in support of the diocese’s effort to raise $2,500 to provide meals for the school children of Jeannette, Haiti, resulted in Christ Church’s giving $1,500!
Bishop Miller recently wrote:
“Dear Lee and Members of Christ Church, Whitefish Bay,
I am deeply moved by your response to my appeal on behalf of the Haiti Project’s feeding program for the school children of Jeannette. Thanks to your generosity and that of the other parishes in the diocese, we have already raised over $17,000. This far exceeds the amount needed to fund the program’s first year, thus ensuring our ability to provide assistance into the future.”
