Worship

Our Worship Life

Worship is at the heart of the Episcopal tradition.  Everything we do, from feeding the homeless to studying our faith, springs from our gathering together to give thanks and praise to God.

Sunday 8:00am Holy Eucharist Rite I

Our Rite I service is quiet and contemplative, and it retains the traditional language of earlier Prayer Books.

Sunday 9:15am Holy Eucharist Rite II

Supported by a full choir from September through May, this is our largest service.  While children are absolutely welcome at both services, more families with children attend this service.  Nursery Care is available for the youngest among us.  In the summer months, we move outside into our garden.

Wednesday 8:00am Eucharist with Prayers for Healing (Chapel)

A short, quiet service for those on their way to work (or anywhere else!).  Special prayers, and even annointing for healing are administered to those who request them.

Evening Prayer Monday-Friday 5:30pm (Chapel)

Led by lay people in the parish, the service for Evening Prayer has always been at the heart of the Episcopal/Anglican tradition.  In this service we open our church to all those in the community who would like to end their labors of the day by coming before God in prayer.

Special services as announced

Major Feast Days in the Church year such as Ascension Day and All Saints Day will be celebrated in our chapel.  Additionally, we will sometimes have special services such as Choral Evensong or Advent Lessons and Carols.  See the newsletter or contact the church office for more details.
